To celebrate Nike’s annual Air Max Day festivities, we teamed up with Hong Kong-based terrarium artists Quest Terrarium for a uniquely botanic homage to the iconic series of sneakers. While discerning hipsters and interior designers are decking out bedrooms and luxury hotels with cacti arrangements and colossal installations of greenery, we pay tribute to Nike’s classic sneaker line with miniscule recreations of the Air Max 1 and 95 encased in a Terrarium. Typically a closed-off ecosystem sealed in glass, our Terrarium houses the minute sneaker replicas, sitting atop a tiny mound of moss and gravel and proudly flying the Highsnobiety flag.
