CALADIUM
Caladiums have large, heart-shaped leaves with white splotches, growing up to 2 feet tall. They prefer warm climates, indirect sunlight, and regular watering. Thriving in humidity, they should be protected from the cold.
Light: prefers bright, indirect light. It can tolerate some direct morning sun, but prolonged exposure to intense sunlight may scorch the leaves.
Water: keep the soil consistently moist, but not waterlogged. Water when the top inch of soil feels dry to the touch. Reduce watering in the winter when growth slows.
Fertiliser: every 2-4 weeks during the growing season with a balanced, water-soluble fertilizer diluted to half strength. Reduce or stop fertilizing in the winter.
Benefits: long-lasting foliage colour.
