Neem oil is an effective, natural insecticide that can control common houseplant pests like aphids, whiteflies, spider mites, and powdery mildew. Derived from the neem tree, neem oil works by disrupting insects' hormone systems, causing them to lose appetite and stop reproducing.

To use, thoroughly spray all plant surfaces, including the undersides of leaves, until the solution runs off. Shake the bottle well before each application, as the active ingredients can separate. Store the undiluted neem oil in a cool, dark place to maintain its potency for up to 1 month.
