Lang landed in Hong Kong with a pop‑up at the Kimpton Hotel in TST, bringing its Los Angeles perspective into a tightly curated retail setting. Known for spotlighting Asian designers within its LA boutique, the concept is rooted in exchange rather than trend. The space was designed to feel deliberate, confident and culturally aware — not just seasonal, but strategic.
Soho House was a defining moment for us—a project that came when we were still a smaller, lesser-known studio. The level of detail and layered design required was immense, with an interior designer from their London team flying to Hong Kong to oversee the process. After countless interviews and consultations, we were honored to be chosen as the lead design team.
THE MAGISTRATES CLUB
The Magistrates Club was our first collaboration with Joyce Wang, showcasing luxury design inspired by British colonial aesthetics. Completed in six months with a seamless one-week installation, the project featured lush greenery and smaller leaves to create a romantic, intimate atmosphere. Partnering with Blacksheep, we blended privacy, elegance, and timeless sophistication.
INVESCO
How do you bring the wild, untamed beauty of nature into the polished, high-rise world of Hong Kong’s most iconic office building? When JLL approached QUEST Plants with the brief to create a large-scale natural green installation for INVESCO at Jardine House, we didn’t just see a wall - we saw a canvas for a story.
DBS
The Driftwood Installation for DBS is an island-style centerpiece inspired by a beach cleanup event, incorporating collected driftwood into the design. Positioned as the first feature visitors see, the 360-degree installation uses LED light strips to enhance the moss and driftwood. Refined from an Envisone Studio concept, it reflects DBS’s focus on nature and innovation.
GAGGENAU
In 2020, we brought Germany’s Black Forest to life in a luxury mall in Chengdu, China, as part of a project celebrating Gaggenau’s heritage. Overseen by a German designer, the installation was crafted in Shanghai and shipped to its final location. This immersive design connected the brand’s story to the space, blending nature, culture, and modern luxury.
THE HARI HOTEL
Following our work on SOHO House, The Hari enlisted us to bring a lush, tropical oasis to their Hong Kong hotel. Spanning multiple phases, we transformed three penthouses with unique tropical terraces and enhanced the ground-floor entrance. Collaborating with designer Tara Bernard, we ensured every detail blended luxury, nature, and timeless design.
HPO
The HPO – Private Client project featured eight glass terrariums designed to appear as a continuous rock formation, blending art and nature seamlessly. Crafted with artificial elements to address drainage and condensation issues, the low-maintenance installation delivered a timeless, cohesive design ideal for the privacy of the exclusive office setting.
ASHURST
In 2023, we partnered with Envisione Studios to transform a two-floor office space with innovative plant designs. Part 1 focused on enhancing staff areas with 90 cubicle planters, using a sponge base to reduce bugs and maintenance. Part 2 revitalized the staircase with low-light plants, creating a cohesive and refreshing environment.
QRT
JLL hired us to design a staircase feature for their four-story office, blending sustainability and storytelling. We repurposed construction-phase concrete and added iron-core pillars to reflect the company’s growth. Using a sponge technique and gravel, we ensured low maintenance and durability. Concept and design by Quest.
URLANDSCHAFT
In 2022, we partnered with Woaw Gallery to design the Urlandschaft project, inspired by mystical Japanese animations. Crafted by Quest, the layout featured wild, outdoor-style plants of various sizes with intricate details. Installed overnight as a non-permanent display, the project included weekly maintenance, blending creativity with functionality.
